During these travels, he made special note of the people's practices, styles and dress, now putting this valuable experience into practice to produce incredible new earware jewelry designs for discerning and fashion-conscious ladies. His study of historical records revealed that there is a very long history of ear piercing, dating back to the Egyptian civilization of over 3,000 years ago.

Even earlier evidence was proven with the discovery of a frozen body high in the Austrian Alps subsequently named Otsy, the Iceman. Otsy had pierced ears and lived around 5,000 years ago.
